    Born and raised in the Lowcountry, Carson holds a bachelors degree in biochemistry and has served his community in many capacities. As a former civil servant, he has taught high school science and coached wrestling. After passing the National Registry, he served as a certified paramedic for 10 years. Most recently caring for families as the practice manager of our sister company Lowcountry Pet Hospice.

    Dr. Lauren Orvin DVM

    Co Owner & Veterinarian

    Dr. Orvin’s love of animals began while she was growing up in rural eastern North Carolina. She received her undergraduate degree from Campbell University where she also met her husband, a native of Moncks Corner, SC. She graduated from Louisiana State University’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 and has practiced small animal medicine since that time. In 2014, she moved back to Moncks Corner to be close to family and set down roots again. Dr. Orvin is a member of the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the South Carolina Association of Veterinarians. Dr. Orvin is also part of the inaugural class of Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Veterinarians.
